what a weekend!

broke a tooth on a potato chip, wrenched my left foot so that it hurts to stand.....did get a few things done before all this happened, which is a good thing.

Got a new heat gun - brand new one melted on me after 15 minutes of use - got a new embossing pad and ink, embossing powders and a new idea for the SnowWhite Challenge on MMMM.

Now I have to wait for the dentist to call me, see if I can get an appt to get the tooth taken care of and start working on my SWC piece - if the foot will let me that is!

Ain't life grand????

Well Howdy!

It's been a hectic week at work - at least it's now half over.

Just got back from Joann's, spent more than I should have, but am all fired up to get going with the sewing machine, fabric and binding tape - making a few things and thinking about selling them on either my blog or maybe even just get the free website up to date and start selling from there.

So if anyone out there knows whether it's okay to sell from a blog or has any ideas on how to get started, post away!

TGIF!

I am just so damn glad it's Friday - there's an art walk going on downtown tonight, but I don't think my tired ol' feet are up to tramping all over the place - maybe next time :)

Hope to make time to work on my Snow White challenge piece this weekend - I've been invited to a stamping party, not sure about going, since I don't do much of that and I'll be damned if I am going to acquire yet another craft to spend my money on - LOL!!!

Going to make up a new set of curtains for my living room and maybe buy some fabric to make some panels for the doorways between the living room and bedroom - one long hallway and too many doors in a row - not good feng shui, or so I'm told - gotta break it up a little I guess, and since I sew, I see no problem with getting some fabric I like and just getting it done.

And so it begins.....
